Thank you for your visit and welcome to my website. My name is Bakir Bulić. I’m the director of the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Maastricht University.
Bakir Bulić is the director of the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Maastricht University.
Previously he was project manager involved in several (strategic) projects of Maastricht University (UM) and Maastricht University Medical Centre+ (MUMC+). His projects often involve collaboration with industrial partners, government and other stakeholders in the Life Sciences and Health sector.
He graduated with honours from UM’s Faculty of Health Medicine and Life Sciences with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Molecular Sciences in 2010. While pursuing a his MSc degree he has been active as an student advisor to the executive board of the Maastricht University Medical Centre+. He has been working for Maastricht University since 2010. His projects included, among others, setting up an research institute for regenerative medicine (MERLN Institute for technology inspired regenerative medicine) and strengthening the collaboration between healthcare and research within the university medical centre.
Bakir Bulić was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina and has been living in the Netherlands since 1993.
